cell hover over my excel sheet!

Question

I was working on a workbook and I screwed up in a function key. These three cells are hovering on my work sheet. Even if I open a new one. Any solution?  Despite restarting Excel I still have this coming back on my new worksheet. Though it does not affect any inputs in any of the cell - it is still darn irritating. These 3 cells do not occupy any cell

Where do you have these worksheets saved? On the computer or on OneDrive.

What is the Office build installed on the computer?

You may repair Office from the control panel and check.

Thank you  @ Rasquinha. I have Office 2016 on my Mac. Excel sheet looks ok when Reinstall it, but, the moment I do a cell or a sheet reference these pop out. Tried 3 times to reinstall my excel - no luck. I have learnt to live with it - however irritating it is.
