InfoPath Web Part - Submit Behavior

I'm using SharePoint Online/Office 365/InfoPath 2013.

I added an InfoPath Web Part on our home page, the web part is set to "Open a New Form" after submit.  However, it keeps closing the form and displaying "The form has been closed." message.  My InfoPath submit button performs a rule and I also set it to "Open a New Form" after submit.

All I found online tells me to set the after submit behavior to "Open a New Form" but my web part is not behaving this way :(

Any help is appreciated.  Thank you.

Hi NamiNeko,

If I click Save after editing the form, it opens with a new form. If I click Close after editing the form, it displays the message saying “The form has been closed”. Therefore, please follow the steps below to see if the issue can be fixed:

  1. Click Settings > Edit page > select the InfoPath Form web part > WEB PART > Web Part properties.
  2. Set Submit Behavior to Open a new form and then click Apply > OK > Save.
  3. Fill out the form.
  4. Click EDIT > Save.

Regards,

Shirley

I got it to work. I really didn't do anything different except removing the submit button rules and re-created it.  Not sure what went wrong the first time.  Thank you. :)
