Dear All,

I am using Word to help me out with a lot of referencing. However, the new Office 365 has a very restricted window size for the source manager, which makes it very irratating when I have to look through my reference list. Anyone has any idea how this can be fixed or it it more a software issue?

Thank you in advance!

Felix

The windows should remain in proportion to the dialog regardless of your screen resolution. You can use File>Feedback in Word to send a message to Microsoft about this bug.

    Hi John,

Thanks for the assistance. While the update made the window larger, it only increased to 6 lines instead of the previous 4. Would it still be possible to further increase it? Or is it because my window screen is too high resolution?

    Thank you.

In your screenshot, the Master List and Current List windows are half the normal height. You can try an Office repair to see if that can fix this problem:

    1. In Windows, right-click on the Start button and choose Control Panel.
    2. Select Programs, then Programs and Features.
    3. Right-click on Microsoft Office 2016 and choose Change.
    4. If there are 2 repair options, choose Online Repair, then click on the Repair button. If there is only one repair option, select it and click on the Continue button.
    5. Allow the process to complete, restart your computer, then see if the Master List and Current List windows are larger.
