Azure AD Sync Installation Error

Anonymous

Trying to install but am getting “Windows cannot copy file….” error 1509 mixed in with “Windows cannot find the local profile..” error 1511 and 1500.  Looks like it is using the AAD_xxxxxxxx user account to do this but is getting access errors.  Installing on a Windows 2012R2 server.  Trying to install this for a Exchange 2013 Office 365 hybrid migration.  Any help?  Thanks!

Found the solution to my issue...it was a corrupted default profile.  Replaced it with a default profile from another server with the same windows version.

Yes...all of the pre-requisites have been installed.

I have also posted in the Azure AD forum but have yet to receive a viable solution to this issue.

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Thank you in advance.

    Hi Jimmy,

Have you installed all the pre-requisites for Azure AD Connect? The service account needs to be with local administrator privileges on your computer to install Azure AD Connect? Please check if all the pre-requisites are met from the following link

    https://azure.microsoft.com/en-in/documentation/articles/active-directory-aadconnect-prerequisites/

Meanwhile, as our forum concentrates on Office 365 online related issues, from our side, we might only be able to provide limited suggestions based on our experience. To ensure you get this issue resolved, we recommend you contact our engineers in Azure AD forum via the link below where they are more experienced with directory sync tool installation issues.

Thanks for your time on this.

    Best regards,

    Ran
