Visio autofill function help

I have created a series of pages in visio with flowcharts on each page and a title block as well. I want to make it to where I go to the first page and fill in a name, date, or address on the title block, and it then fills the same info on the rest of the pages automatically. I could not find a function that does this. Simply put, how can I fill a text box on one page and set it up to automatically change the corresponding boxes on other pages?

    Hi,

Based on my knowledge, there is no method in Visio to meet your requirement. We cannot link the text content for the shapes between each drawing pages in Visio.

Just personal option, maybe you can consider to link each page to a same Excel file, then link the Excel field (name, date, or address) to the shapes in each Visio page manually. Then you can change the field in Excel file to updates each shapes. However, it is complex and need to link data on each page and each shapes manually. I am afraid it is difficult to execute it.

Hope other users would provide better suggestions.

    Best Regards,

    Winni Liang
