Missing DLL references for Access 2016
Hi All,
We are currently migrating all our applications to office 365. One of our application being an Access DB(.accdb) file in office 2010.
When we try to open anAccess DB file(2010 version) using Access 2016(office 365) and try to use it, we get a warning message as "Your RAM Database Integration and Optimization database or project contains a missing or broken reference to the file 'sqlceca35.dll' version 3.5". So, I checked up the references by doing Alt+F11 and navigate to tools and references. It had a missing reference to "Microsoft SQL Sever Compact Edition". I unchecked the missing reference and the Access DB worked completely fine.
My problem is that I need to share the Access DB file to different clients in different countries. So, every time some one opens up the Access DB file, the reference to "Microsoft SQL Sever Compact Edition" needs to unchecked to avoid the errors.
The Access DB file is automatically taking the reference to **"Microsoft SQL Sever Compact Edition"**whenever an Access DB of 2010 version is opened in Access 2016. Is there a way to prevent Access DB 2016 file taking all the default references?
Any help will be highly appreciated. Do let me know in case of any understanding issues.
Thanks & Regards,
Rakesh Shinde
