.net framework 4.5 problem on windows 10

I have purchased discs and product code for   Office pro plus 2016 but when i try to load it is says i first need to download .net framework 4.5. This is already installed on the windows 10 laptop as part of the package. I don't know what to do! Advice would be much appreciated thank you

Thank you for your reply.

To check if the.NET Framework 4.6 or prior is available in Control Panel and to enable it, please follow these steps:  

a) Press “Windows Logo” + “R” keys on the keyboard.

b) Type “appwiz.cpl” in the “Run” command box and press “ENTER”.

c) In the “Programs and Features” window, click on the link “Turn Windows features on or off”.

d) Check if the .NET Framework 4.6 & .NET Framework 3.5option is available in it.

e) If yes, then enable it and then click on “OK”.

f) Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation and restart the computer, if prompted.

You may also try repairing the .net framework using the tool mentioned below and try installing Office to check if it works.

    It was purchased  through a charity site which is for churches, u3a  groups etc.

    So where did you obtain 2016 Pro Plus, which is a volume licensed version, from?
