MS Project custom view lock-up problem

I utilize multiple custom views in MS Project 2013 that are built off of custom filters and groups.  This provides the ability to have set-up, reporting, and analysis view in a standardized formats on mulitple projects.  I've been using the custom views for a few years.  Today, the ability to change between views (e.g., Gantt to a custom Critical path view) will not work.  It attempts to load the CP view but jumps back to the Gantt view.  While trying to troubleshoot by using the "more views" option, I applied the "Calendar" view and now its locked on the calendar view and the "more views" doesn't work.  I cannot change to any view.

Do you have any recommendations to fix the issue of MSP not changing Views?

You could have file corruption. Make sure Project 2013 has Service pack 1 and the latest updates installed.

Does this happen on all files? Does it happen on a backup copy of the file?

Do you have links to other files? If so, then file corruption is the likely candidate.

I installed Service pack, but unfortunately it did not resolve the problem.  The lock up did not occur on other files.

I was able to copy the data into a blank template that is set up with the custom filters/views/groups etc and everything is operating correctly.

    Thanks for the suggesetions
