hello everybody, please somebody help me with this error, the grey marks I've made but the rest is the error in Excel 2016, it gives me headache every day, cause I have to work everyday in Excel so it's a very annoying problem. My display drivers are updated everything is up to date but this happens every time I start working in Excel. This happens only in Excel 2016, Word and other Office applications are working fine.

I have a similar problem with Excel 2013 Pro Plus 64 bit running on Windows 10 Pro 64 bit, as well as another of my users running Excel 2016 Pro Plus 64 bit on Windows 10 Pro 64 bit

Display drivers are up to date, Office 2016 is up to date.

    Offcat tool finds no errors.

We're both using Dell XPS 9530 laptops with D3100 USB Display Link docks, which have an issue with screen scaling when the dock is unplugged / plugged back in, so perhaps it is related to a scaling issue- when the laptop is removed from the dock, the scaling gets thrown off, and when the dock is re-attached, the scaling gets even worse, making some dialogue boxes enormous, and others so tiny the text is unreadable.

I've found that a reboot with the dock attached sometimes fixes the error with large black patches appearing through a document
