Hi, when I view my Groups in Office 365 Admin I receive the following error message.

Message: The server was unable to process the request due to an internal error. For more information about the error, either turn on IncludeExceptionDetailInFaults (either from ServiceBehaviorAttribute or from the <serviceDebug> configuration behavior)
on the server in order to send the exception information back to the client, or turn on tracing as per the Microsoft .NET Framework SDK documentation and inspect the server trace logs.

Your request couldn't be completed. Please try again in a few minutes.

Can someone help me?

Thanks,

M

Hi M,

Thank you for the information. Check first if the Office 365 account you currently use has admin permissions. If not, then assign admin roles in Office 365 for this account. If you are not admin you need to involve other admin in your organization to be assigned with admin roles.

I understand that you can view these groups in the Outlook client. After you have been given admin rights, now check if now you can manage distribution groups.

Let me know what happens and looking forward to your updates.

Best Regards,

Ruel

    Hi M,

Thanks for your reply. I have read through the whole thread. To better understand your situation, please provide answers of questions 1, 3 and 5 which Ruel mentioned above.

Meanwhile, regarding you can't create the Office 365 group in admin center, please check if the issue persists when you create the groups in Outlook Web App (OWA: https://outlook.office.com/owa).

    Thanks,

    Gary

    Hi Ruel,

I have created a couple of groups before and I did not have any issue. I am using Office 365 provided by GoDaddy.

At first I had 2 Office 365 accounts, I was the admin. I then changed the admin to another user and I deleted my account to create a new one for someone else at that time. Since then I have added a new license and re-created my account again, again as an Administrator.

Now I am unable to create any new groups as stated. I have tried with a new computer, so no browser history and the issue still remains.

Really need some help on this.

    Thanks,

    Mathew

    Hi M,

Thank you for your post. Try to check if another admin in your organization experience the same error when viewing the group.

I would like to ask you to provide some information and suggest to follow the steps below to further investigate the issue.

1.) Provide the detailed steps that you have done before this error occurs.

2.) Does the issue also occurs when viewing this Office 365 Group, or the issue also occurs when viewing other groups in your organization?

3.) The screenshot of the error.

4.) Try to clear the cache of your browser or try other browsers and check if there is any improvement.

5.) Try to disable your Anti-virus / Anti-malware, then set the correct time on Office 365 admin center/OWA with the same time on your computer.

    Looking forward to you updates.

    Best Regards,

    Ruel
