Inconsistent Behavior Formatting Hyperlinks.

Hyperlinks copy into OneNote underlined and bright blue.

If I highlight the link I can change the formatting but I can't remove the underline

When I click the Underline button instead of removing the underline it  toggles the link between the ugly blue underlined default and my selected formatting.

If I Cmd-K a name for the hyperlink it removes my formatting and goes back to the default.

I can re-format the newly created name but if I try to format white or close to white it defaults back to the blue color (not underlined)

(I've placed it inside a shaded table cell)

I am trying to simulate different brand name typefaces which requires bright white on a dark background.

Am I missing something?

Thanks

Hi Tyler,

I would like to explain that if you change the Font Color of the Hyperlinks, the underline will be removed.

For the question:” If I Cmd-K a name for the hyperlink it removes my formatting and goes back to the default.”

I need to tell you it will renew to default, as you have change the Text to display.

If you want to change to white color, we need to add Text Highlight Color before change Font Color. Meanwhile, the Font Color will go back to the default.

Therefore, we suggest you submit feedback in our OneNote UserVoice. Many new features came directly from customer's feedback.

We appreciate your understanding.
