Permission Replication Question

Hello,

We are using Office365 and use the Online Web App (OWA) to give access to users to view mailboxes of other user's who are no longer with the company. In the Admin center, we give the user Read & Manage rights to the kiosk account so they can Open an Additional Mailbox from the OWA.

My question is, how long does it take for the replication of permissions to occur before that user can open the additional inbox? It seems like it can take a relatively long time because when the user tries to open the mailbox in the OWA it will continue to give an error message saying "Something went wrong: You don't have permission to open this mailbox."

Is this something you can force to replicate somehow, or must it take only a few minutes, or hours.

I would just like some feedback in regards to this.

Thank you,

Cory

In general 30mins or so. But in your case the issue might be that you didnt add the relevant permissions on the Root folder (Top of the information store). Same needs to be done for any other (sub)folders in the path.
