Alignment Issues in Microsoft Publisher

Hi,

I have created a brochure consisting of 3 x A4 portrait pages, that will be printed on both sides, and folded on their long edge.  It is a 'trifold' brochure of sorts, but using whole A4 pages rather than folding a single sheet.

I have hapily created both sides of the publication in Publisher using a custom page size of 63 x 29.7, which is the measure ment of three A4's arranged in portrait with their long edges aligned to each other.  I've used columns and guides to layout the content for each of these 'A4's' on the custom page.

This has all worked well however when I go to print, telling my printer I  want A4 paper size, Publisher 'tiles' my publication starting from what looks to be the exact centre line of page 1 as its left most margin.  This means every of my 'A4' layout, is split across 2 actual A4 sheets of paper, and, rather than the print job taking 3 A4  sheets of paper, it wants to use 4.  I have included a screen shot of the issue below.

I am hoping there is a simple solution out there that I'm not seeing.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Rohan

    Hi Rohan,

Monthly Channel Version 1802 has two builds i.e. 9029.2253 and 9029.2167, which one do you have?

When I opened your Publisher Draft in the latest Version 1802 (Build 9029.2253), the print preview appeared fine, just the way you wanted. Please see the screenshot below.

If your Office is not updated, I’ll suggest you install the latest updates. To know how to install Office updates, please see Install Office updates.

You can check this article about the Office 365 version information.

    Thanks,

    Neha
