Exporting from OneNote UWP

I have a notebook open in OneNote UWP, but its source in the cloud is no longer available.  There is no way to recover it.  Is there any way to save the material that is still available in the app?  I can close and reopen the app without losing the data since it seems to be stored in the local cache, but once I formally close the notebook I realize it will be gone forever.  Things I have tried:

  1. Looking in the backups folder for OneNote desktop.  No luck.
  2. Copying/moving to a legit notebook.  "The sections you're copying/moving have not all been synced. Make sure you are online and fully synced before you move sections between notebooks."

In the desktop version, you can circumvent this error by merging with a properly synced page.  UWP has no such feature.  What are my options?  Thanks in advance.

Hi Maestro35,

As the cloud source is not available, we cannot copy the whole notebook from OneNote UWP to OneNote. OneNote UWP has local files but they are not the real notebooks saved as OneNote do, we can try copying these local files to OneNote local folder to sync the notebook.

Refer to SoumitraVadnerkar’s answer in this thread and let us know the outcome.

Regards,

Kimi

With a bit of additional finagling, this did provide a solution to my problem.  Thank you.
