Visio drag drop not working for org chart function

I am using Visio 2013.  The drag and drop function of adding subordinates in an org chart is not working at all.  I do not want to import data - I just want to manually create the chart.  When I drag and drop the box, there is no error - I just have a new box on top of the old box.

Also, if I go to the org chart tab and change the shapes, the shapes on the left do not change.

Has anyone seen this?  Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Lura,

Considering support for the 2013 versions of Office 365 client applications ended on February 28, 2017, if you have desktop version of Office 365 license, you can install Office 2016 in Office 365 portalfor better user experience. In this case, you can get all the latest features in Office 2016.

If it persists in Office 2016, could you please provide detailed steps and related screenshots about how you encounter the issue, so we can better understand your situation and help you?

Regards,

Yoga

I do not have the opportunity to upgrade.  2013 is what my company uses.
