Can't share - Error Code: 0x803d0005

I am thinking of moving back from Mac OS to the Windows environment and am testing One Note on my iMac Mid 2011 High Sierra (Beta). It syncs well with my devices. However, I cannot share link when using share button. I get: The server couldn't complete this action. Error Code: 0x803d0005

I have seen this posted in the past but have not found any solutions.  Thank you.

I thought my response had posted. Thanks for replying! I believe that I misunderstood the Share function and that it must be limited to members on your network.  

In any case, I have an adequate work around.

Hi, could you explain more? What do you mean by "members on your network"? I actually do need to share a notebook to some people, but I'm getting this same error. I am doing the following:

File > Share > Invite People to Notebook.

Also tried "Copy View and Edit Link to Notebook " and receive the same error.

How can I add my coworkers to my "network" as you say? I really need to work on this Notebook with them and I cannot find help anywhere!

    One Note is up to date.

    I am assuming I can share a link with anyone. I am not on a network per se. Only WiFi.  I may have misunderstood the option to Share the link.

    In any case: This is the screenshot of what occurs when I try to share a note:

    Hi JPBROWSER,

    First, please make sure your OneNote application is up to date.

    Besides, you can switch to a different network and let me know if the issue remains.

    If you still get this error, could you provide the following information?

    1. A screenshot of the error.
    2. When did you get this error? 
    3. What changes have you done before you got this error?
    4. Have you tried to sign out and sign in to OneNote with a different account?
