I recently repaired Office 365 for Outlook timing; however, afterwards I noticed my PowerPoint 2016 is impacted.  The bottom task bar has disappeared and I can't figure out how to restore it - can you help?

Can you clarify

Can you see the bar at all (i.e. with no icons) or is it completely invisible?

Does it stay the same if you restart the PC?

Simply running PowerPoint in Safe Mode then re-starting PowerPoint solved the problem.  I never knew there was a 'safe' mode for Office products.  Thank you so much for the succinct and prompt response!!

    Hello Bruce,

The problem that you are experiencing with the bottom taskbar in PowerPoint 2016 is possibly caused by a 3rd party add-ins. To better assist you, we suggest that you try to disable all 3rd party add-ins or run PowerPoint in safe mode and verify the result. You can also repair the PowerPoint app by going to this link.

Let us know how it goes.
