My coworkers and I are receiving this error message when trying to open an InfoPath form from a Sharepoint server. Has anything recently been updated where InfoPath forms cannot be opened in Internet Explorer?

Error
This form cannot be opened in a Web browser. To open this form, use Microsoft InfoPath. <br> ---

We've tried uninstalling InfoPath and reinstalling, republishing the form to the sharepoint server and opening in different browsers/computers to no avail.

Hi Heather,

Based on your description, you are receiving "This form cannot be opened in a Web browser. To open this form, use Microsoft InfoPath." when you try to open an InforPath form from a SharePoint server.

First, we'd like to confirm which version of the InfoPath you are using. If you are using InfoPath 2010, we’d like to inform you that there are some features unavailable in Web browser forms when using InfoPath 2010.

Here is an article for your reference: InfoPath 2010 features unavailable in Web browser forms.

Regards,

Tisky
