Does Databox support NFSv4 with sec=krb5p option to secure data in-transit during the file transfer process?

@Eric J Nordberg Windows does support krb5p as part of NFS4.1 support. It is my understanding, LDAP- Krb5p, that the Databox would have to participate in LDAP/Kerberos infrastructure.

IIn order to participate in the LDAP/Kerberos infrastructure, I assume the Databox would need to join the AD domain. Are instructions available on joining the Databox NAS to a domain? Would doing so then create issues when the Databox is received by Microsoft to load data into Azure?

Data Box does not have support for NFSv4 with sec=krb5p’

Will Databox support ssh tunneling NFS:

Setup an SSH tunnel (local-to-remote port):

ssh -fNv -L 3049:localhost:2049 user@hostname
Mount the folder:

mount -t nfs -o port=3049 localhost:/home/proudlygeek /mnt/nfs-share

@Eric J Nordberg We do not support ssh tunneling currently.

My question is, why would you need ssh within their your own network? Maybe if you wish we can discuss a few options if you are concerned about security.
