Combo box drop down doesn't work

I have a work laptop with windows 2007 professional and a home laptop with windows 10.

I use the same office 365 on-line account for both.

I have an excel macro enabled worksheet created in excel 2010 with both data validation drop downs and combo box drop downs.

All work fine on my work laptop but on my home one the combo box drop down does not work. The arrow appears but nothing happens when you click on it.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks Neha.

I worked out that I was using an active x control combo box. I checked active x settings under trust centre and found they were disabled.

I enabled and it works fine now thanks.

    Hi Emermick,

Please try re-adding the combo box, check if this fixes the issue.

If the issue persists, please provide the following information:

    1. Did you create the combo box from Developer tab>Insert?
    2. Are you working on the same workbook from your work and home computer?
    3. Are you using Combo box (Form Control) or Combo Box (ActiveX Control)?
    4. Please confirm if you are using Excel 2010 or 2016?
    5. If you are using Excel 2016, confirm the Office version from both the machines. To get this information, open Excel 2016 on your systems, click File>Account, you'll see this information under Product Information.

    Thanks,

    Neha
