Hi,

I'd like to add one level of detail to my cards, is there a chance we can add a multitude of subcards to the main one?

thanks.

    Hi Alex,

Currently, we just can't create a sub-task or sub-bucket as you required. I do believe this is a good feature in Microsoft Planner. I suggest you submit your feedback at Planner UserVoicewhich is best way to let related team hear your voice. Many good features are come from customers.

    Regards,

    William

    HI William,

Yes you are correct, the cards are tasks in my plan. Yet, those tasks often generate subtasks that need to be assigned to other people. My organization of the cards is defined by main themes (buckets in this instance), within the themes there are initiatives that are being conducted by a main representative (cards), this representative will assign granular tasks to their own people (subtasks or sub card), and this is the last part that is missing.

Can such sub-tasks not be created, with an indent for example?

    thanks.

    Hi Alex,

After I noticed you are asking question related to Planner, I suppose that cards in your reply are tasks in your Microsoft Planner.

If so, I would like to explain that we can only create tasks in a plan but we can't create any subitems in a task. However, if you would like to organize your tasks more clearly, you can choose to create buckets. Here is a video for your reference:
