    Hello Suzy,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

The main difference between the network admin and verified network admin in the Yammer is that verified network admin will be able to see the network migration and export data options.

That is to perform the network migration if there are multiple networks associated with office 365 tenant and can export the data of the network.

     • Admins

Yammer administrative functions are easy to access. On your home screen, locate the left navigation bar and click on Admin. You’ll see a drop-down menu where you can access and adjust your network settings.

     • Group Admins

As the admin of a paid network, you have access to admin privileges within all Groups on your network, whether you are a member of them or not. A full list of Group Admin rights and settings can be found with under the Group admin privileges section of this guide.

     • Network Admins and Verified Admins

Yammer offers two levels of network‐wide admin privileges: Network Admin and Verified Admin. Both can configure settings that standard users cannot. A Verified Admin is the highest level of administrative control that can be assigned to a user. Please note that Office 365 Global Admins are automatically assigned Yammer Verified Admin rights. As outlined in the table below, Verified Admins can perform all the operations a Network Admin can, and more. Network Admins receive a notification if they do not have the correct permissions to perform an action.

     • When the Yammer Enterprise network is activated, all existing Office 365 Global Admins who are on the matching company domain automatically become Verified Admins in Yammer. Later, whenever an Office 365 user is appointed to a Global Admin role, they are also added as a Verified Admin in Yammer. Note that these Global Admins still need to create an account and log on to Yammer to access the Yammer Admin Centre.

Verified Admins can grant Network Admin and Verified Admin privileges to others. Grant or revoke admin privileges by visiting Admin > Success Centre > Admins via the left navigation bar.

    Hello Suzy,

    Thank you for your response.

Yes, the network admin can see the private group by turning the setting on by navigating to Yammer network as a verified admin -> Settings -> Network admin -> Content Mode -> Turn on the private content mode -> Save.

Now you can see the private group and can manage the group as well.

    Regards,

    Sushil Dhiwa.
