PST Import Logs

Good day Community,

I have successfully imported emails and items for PST files into Exchange Online via the Data Import service found at protection.office.com. Based on the Import Results, there were a few items that were skipped due to corruption.

Is there a way to have a log of the items skipped, specifying if there are either:

⦁ Emails with subject and date time information

⦁ Contacts

⦁ Calendar items?

This could aid in the migration of missing items.

Thank you.

Hi Kenneth,

Generally, the Import service will have the notification saying the "problem (ie, some skipped items) during the process. Otherwise, there is no the related log regarding the Import service.

So I understand it should be useful to have such a feature. I'd like to suggest you share your idea with our related team via https://office365.uservoice.com/forums/273493-office-365-admin. Many products' services and features have been designed based on customers' valuable comments. Thanks

    Hi Kenneth,

I am afraid there is no workaround so far. Thanks for your understanding.
