Form View in Access 2016

I have created many forms in Access, but lately, in Access 2016, no matter what I do, my forms expand to fit the screen. I have set properties to: Auto Center=No, Auto resize=No, Fit to Screen=No, Border Style=Sizeable (although I never get the arrows so I can resize it), Min Max Button=Both Enabled (but not shown in the Form box), Moveable=Won't let me select 'Yes' (I don't understand that one either). Although the forms expanding to fit the screen isn't a really big deal, I really would like to be able to have them appear in the size I desire. I could do this in earlier versions of Access but can't figure out what I may be doing wrong in 2016.

I  have the dbase Current Database options set to Tabbed Documents and Display Document Tab, but changing that to Overlapping didn't change anything either. Please help!! I hope I've given enough info. My OS is Windows 10 for PC.

I see tabs. Tabbed Documents choice will always maximize the form. Overlapping windows should give you what you want. Plus you have to understand how the Windows environment works within Access. If a form is opened max'ed all forms will open max'ed.

Can you give us the method you are using to open your forms?

Can you show a screenshot of what you're referring to?

Are your forms set to Popup?

Are your forms set to Popup? No, they are not set to Popup. Here is a screenshot. Form extends across screen.

I did state that changing to the Overlap view didn't change anything. But I didn't realize that if I open one document max'ed then they ALL open that way. I have a form that lists all the companies I have in the dbase (form opens okay, not max'ed). I click on the company and their dbase form opens. All settings for that form are the same as the one I sent a screenshot of, and it automatically opens as max'ed. I get no "arrows" where I can resize it, and even though the Min Max button is set to both enabled, those "icons" are nowhere to be found for the form, just for the Access dbase, which I of course want to be maximized.

Thank you for your response. I hope we can get this resolved.

Okay, I've been playing with the dbase and NOW I see if I select overlapping I get the arrows to resize and the icon to minimize/maximize the form. Thank you everyone for your help. Your comment about the overlapping vs tabbed documents was the trigger for the solution to my problem
