A parameter cannot be found that matches parameter name 'EmailAddresses'.

I just created my office 365 account, and bought one business essentials license. After that i added my domain to office365, all dns records are good.

Now when i want add another mail address with my own domain and make it as default, when i change everything and try to save, i get the following error "A parameter cannot be found that matches parameter name 'EmailAddresses'."

Maybe i just need to wait for a while for everything to work, i tried outlook and i can send and receive mails on my onmicrosoft mail address.

The license is correctly added to my user

Hello Eric,

Yes i did it like that and i got the error, i also found your solution but when i went to ECP, it had a lot less options, and i couldn't find the recipients, i cannot take a screenshot because it is working ok at the moment.

Maybe this will help others, what i did yesterday as a workaround is instead to give the first @onmicrosoft.com account another alias, i created a new user with @mydomain, gave it global administrator, took away the license from the first user and give it to new user.

Best regards

    Hi IVC Bodentechnik GmbH,

Based on your description, may I know whether you do it in Portal like the screenshot below?

If so, you can go to the EAC (https://outlook.office365.com/ecp) and follow the steps below to change the email address.

    1. Open the link above.
    2. Click “recipients” and “mailboxes”.
    3. Edit the user.
    4. Click the “email address” and “+”.
    5. Type in your email address.
    6. You can check the box if you want to make this email address as primary one.

If you scenarios are different or have any questions when doing that, please feel free to let us know.

    Best Regards,

    Erick
