Hello, I want to insert a chart, but when I select data from columns A and C, the chart appears with a data from A & B columns instead. If I select data from columns A & D, then I get column A & C data in the chart. Please advice me on how could I fix it.

    Hi,

I opened the file and saw that there are 2 charts displayed.

The first chart is showing some link to some other file where as the second chart

shows the data range of the same worksheet and columns E & G.

I am unable to replicate the problem which you are facing (Columns E & F being selected in the chart).

Have a look at the screen-shots taken from your file which I downloaded.

    Thanks for sharing the screen-shots.

However, I feel these may not help in understanding / resolving your problem.

For getting a better understanding of the problem, it would be necessary to have a closer look of your data (especially the worksheet having the problem).

For this , you will have to share your file on OneDrive (and share the file link here).

Before uploading your file on OneDrive, you must replace your confidential data (if any) with some sample data.

    Hi,

The problem is only in this sheet, other sheets are not affected. Here I selected columns E and G, but the data in the chart appears from E & F. So if I wanted a correct data from E&G I had to select E&H.

Can you share a screen-shot of your sample data showing the problem?
