OneNote textbox alignment

When i type on top of PDF printouts on OneNote the boxes don't always lineup where I want them to. Even if I try moving the text boxes after typing they shift too much and won't line up. My friends OneNote does NOT do this and when she moves the text boxes they move smoothly.

If you are talking about the invisble grid where object like text boxes snap to when moving: Try holding the ALT key while moving to override the grid and move objects smoothly.

    Hi Kaitlin,

This may be an issue with either OneNote sending print instructions to the printer which can often be addressed by updating OneNote or the printer driver depending on the affected programs.

For us to better understand what’s going on, we would like to know if you and your friend are using the same version of OneNote.

In the meantime, we encourage you to check for the available update for Office. Kindly check this link.

Do get back to us with your thoughts and feedback regarding this matter.
