Checkbox control doesn't move down when text wraps

Split from this thread.

I'm having similar problems but not quite the same. I am adding check boxes on each line as a yes/no response. I have checked the properties to "move but don't resize with cells". But I allow the user to add comments in the next cell after they have checked yes or no.

If they add enough text to cause a text wrap and increase the height of the row, the yes/no check boxes for the cell below do not move down with the cell below but stay with the cell above (that is now 2 rows high due to text wrapping in an adjacent cell.

In testing various things, it appears that it only affects the row below it. All the rest of the boxes in cells below it seem to move appropriately.

By the way, the option to "move and resize with cells" is grayed out and not functioning (on the versions I have access to: 1609 and 1703).

Anybody have any suggestions?

I think your text box controls may be too close together. I tested with controls spaced a little further apart on a worksheet and when the text wrapped, the controls below shifted down. Try increasing the row height or adding some blank rows and move the controls a little further apart.
