I previously use excel 2003 for drawing where I could have the drawing toolbar permantly displayed at the bottom. Now with 2016 (as with 2013, 2010 etc) I cannot get it to permantly display. I can see how to use shapes etc but it is a most comber some way to draw a new line etc for each line.

Anybody help

Hi, You can get "Shapes" tool by 2 ways:

    (1) From Insert Menu:

    • From Insert | Shapes which is in under Illustrations group.

    (2) Set it to Quick Access Toolbar:

Excel 2007 and upper version allows you to use a single tool (like, Shapes) as a shortcut in Quick Access Toolbar. You can easily set any of Tool in this Quick Access Toolbar. I'm showing you how you can add it:

    • Click on File | Option | Customize Ribbon
    • Select All Commands from Choose commands from:
    • Select Shapes and Click on Add button

    • That's it you will find it in Quick Access Toolbar

    Hope this will help you.
