Syncing SharePoint Folder with Microsoft Teams Channel

Hi,

We did try the solution below - but we could not get access to folders we wanted.

Is it only possible to get to the highest level on the site or is it possible to share a folder in another folder?

I would only like to share files in the folder "Denmark" with a team:

XXXXsite on SharePoint/folder:BI/folder:Nordic/folder:Denmark

I copy the link for the folder "Denmark"

And paste it in to "Use a Sharepoint link" but get message

We couldn't find any SharePoint site or a folder. Check the link and try again.

• Copy the folder link in SharePoint:
• In team site, click Teams >choose where you want to copy > click icon”+” > choose “SharePoint” > “Use a SharePoint link” > paste the link >click “Go” > click “Next” > choose the folder where your copied folder to and click “Next”

• You can see the folder “1” in team site.

For the question: I would like the SharePoint folder/files to be viewable in Microsoft Teams folder. Is this possible?

You can view the folder/files after you copied. Even when you do the change to the folder in the SharePoint, you can see the change in Team Site, vice versa.

For the question: is it possible to have the file/folder viewable AND editable in SharePoint and also in Microsoft Teams?

Yes, but you just can edit the file format which can edit online, such as word, Excel..

In SharePoint Online and Microsoft Teams, we can only share SharePoint libraries. If you want to share a specific folder in Microsoft Teams, we suggest you go to SharePoint uservoice to submit feedback and vote for it, this will help us improve our products.
