Empty attachments folder in Documents library

I have a group to which I can send email with attachments or upload and see all files in Outlook group site:

 But when I navigate to SharePoint library I see only uploaded file and empty attachments folder:

inside folder:

 Show/hide folders in list view settings does not help

It is not feasible to add the attachments to Group library.

    My requirement is to make storage library for electronic documents so I'm searching the best end shortest way to store attachments from desktop Outlook to this library. If we can't just forward emails to group email and find these files in SharePoint library so it seems that I have only one option from desktop Outlook - Save to OneDrive -> Group files -> Exact group:

      Other options like "Upload" or "Save to group library" from web site is too much steps to do this job and finally why I need to see all files in SharePoint library - because in group web site there is no content search that we have in SharePoint library

      I think there is a mistake that files do not appear in SharePoint library when sending email with attachment

    Hi TadasB,

    Based on my test, when you didn’t sent email from Conversation, there is no option "Upload to group files" but only “Upload and attach as a OneDrive file”.

    When you select “Upload and attach as a OneDrive file”, the file didn’t display on Files tab.

    For the existing attachments, I suggest you try the following steps to display it on library:

    1. Navigation to Files tab.
    2. Select the file which you want to display in library, click Save to group library as below:

    I need simply forward existing email with attachment in my desktop Outlook to group email and find this file in "Files" tab and Documents library.  Your option is working only in web right? My observation

    • trying "Upload to group files" option sitting in OWA and creating new email with attached file this file does not appear in group "Files" tab. When the same was done from Group site -> Conversation all is ok.

    Hi TadasB,

    Based on your screenshot, I need to confirm if you have selected “Upload to group files” when you add the attachments to the emails as below:

    If not, please try selecting Upload to group files.

    If you select “Attach as copies”, I would like to explain that the attachments will not add to the Email attachments folder.
