Billing Scam?

This morning I was offered a scheme of subscription for 2 years with few months free, when I agreed to proceed the agent started to make the subscription today 8/5/2017.

When my current billing was supposed to end on 10/3/2017. 

And now, in my account appear that I only purchased a year of subscription which ended on 10/3/2018

But the bank called me said there are 2 transaction of RM379.99 charged to my card. 

What is going on here? a scam? I do not wish to subscript until 10/3/2017. Please advice. 

cant talk to anyone because they closed today in Malaysia.
