Data usage for Excel 2016 Autosave

Since I use Excel linked to Onedrive over a metered data line. How much is it costing me to use the Excel Autosave feature?

Is it resaving the whole file everytime I make a change or is it just the incremental data that gets saved?

    Hello Spencer,

    The data usage will only consume if you access the internet but for just simply saving/ syncing the file to OneDrive will not greatly impact your data usage (Depends on the file size) as it only save the changes you just made to the file. You can try by turning off all apps and background applications and make changes to your Excel file then save to OneDrive and check your data usage.
