Every since I renewed my office 365 subscription this month I cannt download and open a ppt file.  The original is a 2003-2007 file. I keep getting  "No text converter is installed for this file type"

This is more than aggravating. I need these for school. I have never had this problem before.

This may sound stupid, but give it a try anyhow:

Right click the icon of the downloaded file.

    Choose Properties.

On the general tab of the Properties dialog box, look for an Unblock button or a checkbox having something to do with blocking.  If it's there, click UNBLOCK or do whatever's needed in the checkbox to unblock the file.

    Then try in PPT again.

Thanks you are right it is a 97-2003 ppt.. But it is not a issue with the file.  I can download and open it on my moms computer, sisters computer, and school computer  just not my computer. I don't live near any of these other computers so this does not help me.  I have downloaded and opened files from the same professor with the same system until a week ago when I started receiving this message.  I could down load them and open them until I renewed my 365 subscription. Once again thanks for your help.

There is really no such thing as a 2003 - 2007 file. If you mean 97-2003 you might want to investigate the possibility that it is actually a 95 file (which appears the same but will not open.)
