Sync errors on Mac - "view sync problems" shows nothing

I'm using OneDrive for Business on my Mac and there is a "problem" reported by OneDrive. The status window shows files that do sync, but there are two errors and I am informed that OneDrive needs my attention. The option to "view sync problems" doesn't do anything so I have no idea what the problems are or which file(s) I need to fix in order to solve the problem.  I've uninstalled and reinstalled OneDrive, I unlinked the Mac (and then relinked it). I removed and then re-added the directories. Same result -- i.e., no result. I have sync errors but have no idea to find out what they are.

Is there a log file somewhere I could find the offending file(s) in? like I said, the "View sync problems" option does nothing. Show all windows from OneDrive doesn't show any.

I'm stuck, thanks for any help or suggestions.

Got answer from Microsoft, the empty "View sync problems" is a known issue on the Mac but the following advice allowed me to find the problem and correct it.

Solution:

  1. Go to System Preferences > Extensions.
  2. Then click on "Finder" on the left half of the window

You should see a "One Drive Finder Integration" option. Make sure it's checked. 3. If is checked already, uncheck and recheck again. 4. You should now see green check marks next to files that have been synced with One Drive.
