Fill Color No Longer Displaying in Excel 2016 Workbooks
I have been experiencing this problem for about a week now where I open my Excel Workbook and find that the fill colors I have assigned to each cell are not displaying. When I select a cell and go to put in the fill color, the color selection menu shows as already having a selection. When I attempt to assign the cell a new fill color, the cell still shows as though it has no fill. I am able to see the fill colors when I go to my print preview page. I have tested the fill color on new workbooks and worksheets, and it currently does seem to be working there; however, I would much prefer to not have to rebuild my workbooks if there is a solution to simply have the fill colors appear again. The issue doesn't appear to be tied to any software updates I could find, privacy settings (because they were not set), or conditional formatting. I have checked the high contrast option, and that doesn't appear to be the problem for it isn't activated. I've screenshot the image below of what I see on my high contrast screen. Please help. This has become more than a bit frustrating when using my excel spreadsheets. P.S. I believe I'm running Windows 10 on my Surface Pro 4 Tablet.
