Script editor web part "edit snippet" disabled after save

I add a simple script and save the page. Open it again to edit and the "edit snippet" link does nothing. When is SP Online going to finally emerge from beta testing and actually work as promised? Oh, I forgot - Msft NEVER fixes their products, they just replace them. Silly me.

    Tisky,

It has nothing to do with customization. Why is the edit snippet link on the OOB script editor web part disabled?
