PowerPoint 2016 Animation Issues

Hey there,

My PowerPoint 2016 is seeming to have some issues with its Animation Options.

As increase the Animation Duration Timing starting with 00.00 then 00.25 then 00.50 and then suddenly jumps to 59.00. The same error applies to Animation Delay Timing.

I tried typing my required timings in the boxes, however, only whole numbers as in 01.00 and 02.00 etc are accepted. The rest like 00.75, 01.50 changes to 59.00.

I have tried this on a new PowerPoint Presentation with nothing else on screen except a text box to try the animation.

This is not really the answer John but 59 seconds is the longest time you can enter in the ribbon (bizarrely PowerPoint can in fact run longer animations if you add the time in code or by dragging the timeline).

So if you enter 75 SECONDS it would switch to 59.00. Obviously 00.75 is not 75 seconds but my guess is your PC thinks it is (It doesn't happen here in 2016)

If you enter 00.50 for an animation does it actually run for 0.5 sec?
