I had an excel spreadsheet that was embedded on my company's website for a while, but it would seem that the link expired or something. We're using One Drive for business.
"https://support.office.com/en-us/article/embed-your-excel-workbook-on-your-web-page-or-blog-from-sharepoint-or-onedrive-for-business-7af74ce6-e8a0-48ac-ba3b-a1dd627b7773?ui=en-US&rs=en-US&ad=US"
I followed the instructions above to try and get the spreadsheet back on the website, but it is outdated and the instructions do not match the ever changing 365 layout. So there are buttons or links that I could not reach.
The issue I am having is that external users need to be able to enter data in the spreadsheet so it can help them calculate their retirement, but when users come to the website, the embedded spreadsheet requires them to log into Sharepoint. I can no longer
embed something with the phrase "guest access" included with the link because the link that is generated by 365 does not include that.
Did Microsoft remove this feature?
Below is how 365 used to embed the frame and this is exactly what I need, but there is no way to generate that.
"<iframe width="1150" height="640" frameborder="0" scrolling="no" src='https://my.sharepoint.com/personal/Username/_layouts/15/guestaccess.aspx?xx"
Below is an example of what is generated now.
" <iframe width="402" height="346" frameborder="0" scrolling="no" src="https://my.sharepoint.com/personal/username/_layouts/15/xx"
Can users no longer grant guest access for external users to use embedded content? They need to be able to interact with the spreadsheet as well. Please help!
