I am facing problem to login to One note through Hotmail account online from a couple of days. The below-mentioned message is showing repeatedly. Would someone mind to help me to fix this?

for anyone interested a work around that works for me is to locate the OneNote notebook on your OneDrive and to open it from there.

I have the same problem. I first noticed it three days ago. It happens on both my Windows 10 and my Linux machines and in different browsers.
I can access OneNote fine via my android phone and my desktop OneNote is working well.
I tried contacting a Microsoft 'agent' on their text chat support this morning about this through my Office 365 support, the message box reported - guess what?
"Something went wrong and we can't sign you in right now. Please try again later.
The Microsoft account login server has detected too many repeated authentication attempts. Please wait a moment and try again."
How do you contact anyone in Microsoft about this!
I am having the same issue - Cannot access OneNote through browser online, but via my Android phone it is fine.
