Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
Hi David,
I have received your PM. Can I assume this notification prompt in your iCloud? If so, I suggest you perform the following steps cause sometimes PCs will pre-install Office products in it and when you install a new Outlook it may cause this issue.
- Please check your Control Panel’s installed apps to see if there is more than one Outlook installed. About the specific steps to check, refer to https://support.microsoft.com/en-sg/help/13764/windows-where-is-control-panel . When you open it, select Programs>Programs and Features. If there is more than one installed, please uninstalled the one you don’t use.
- If there is just one Outlook in Control panel, please search “Outlook” in the Win10’s search box, check how many “Outlook” there which extended name is “.exe”. If there is more than one, you may need to delete one of them. And if you don’t know which to delete, send me a screenshot in post.
- If you can’t find it in the search box either, the remains usually in the path:” c:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\OfficeXX”, check there also.
- Try uninstall and reinstall the iCloud on your PC see if the notification stops popping up.
In additional, the questions about “my iCloud settings are out of date....... iCLOUD pictures are not backing up.....”, please contact Apple’s support also cause we don’t have the rights to advice other company’s product.
Hopefully the information above can help.
Regards,
Leo Zhao
