Problem with shape format options

I am having trouble when trying to change the filling of certain shapes in power point. For some reason the format option does not work on ovals and in rectangles  the colors appear distorted. The same is happening when working with charts and graphics in Microsoft word.

I tried re installing Microsoft office but the problem persists. Please help.

Did you try changing the theme?

Yes it was me. I’ve been struggling with this for a while now. Thanks anyway.

I was about to say "I remember another post like that" but that was you too.

Certainly weird but I have no idea what is causing that. Does changing to another (MSFT) template change anything?

You need to explain EXACTLY what you mean, maybe with some screen shots.
