High CPU usage when using a different account

Split from this thread.

Hi, had difficulties connecting with my account in safemode. I had a work account and an MS account with the same email. Finally got around to disabling my MS account (as its now really supported) and then noticed that CPU usage dropped to normal when accessing Onedrive or SharePoint online content.

So it seems the issue with high CPU is related to having accounts with the same email for your work as well as your MS account.

regards, Niels

Hi Niels,

It seems that you are talking about the issue in the post.

If yes, from your description, the issue seems to be resolved by making the work and school account and the personal account different.

Please confirm that and welcome to post back if you have the issue again.

Thanks,

Cliff

    Hi Niels,

    Thanks for sharing the information.

As the issue has been resolved by making the work and school account and the personal account different, you may need to keep the change at work. Please be noted that binding the work and school account and the personal account with the same name is not supported now.

If you have issues again, I suggest you post a new thread on our forum so that we can focus on the specific issue you are experiencing.

    Thanks,

    Cliff

Hi, thought I was replying to the post you mention :-) (was on my mobile) and as I wrote the fix is not to have work/ms accounts with the same name.

    regards, Niels
