Is like that the Excel Window Splits in 2, one normal and the other complete grey. Also, If I try to drag the Excel window start flashing, changing between Excel window and Windows desktop.

Only happen when Excel start maximized.

Here is a short video with the problem:

    Hi Rodrigo,

Have you tried to update your Windows? What is the detailed version of it now? You can check it under Settings > System > About, provide the version number and OS Build number for us.

Also, please try to check the option Disable hardware graphics acceleration under Display tab in File > Options > Advanced to see if it works.

    Thanks,

    Ran

    Hi Rodrigo,

I would suggest you run the Microsoft Office Configuration Analyzer Tool to see if it can find what causes the issue. Refer to the following article about how to install and start the tool.

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2812744/office-configuration-analyzer-tool-offcat-information

If it cannot detect the root cause, please use the tool to generate a report for us. To collect the report, I have sent you a private message. Please access it via the link below:

    Thanks,

    Hello,

    thanks Tina for the answer...

I tried the both suggestions (safe mode and clean boot) with no luck.

    • No other computer in the Company with the problem.
    • Only happen in Excel

    Regards,

    Rodrigo

    Hi Rodrigo,

You can try to start Excel in safe mode and check if the issue persists.

Right click the Start button>Choose Run>Type in excel /safe>Click OK.

For your reference: Open Office apps in safe mode on a Windows PC

If the issue persists, please try to log in Windows as an Administrator to perform a clean boot and let us know the result.

You can follow the steps in this article How to perform a clean boot in Windows.

If above doesn't help, please provide the information below for troubleshooting:

1.Does the issue happen to other computers in your company?

2.Does the issue happen to other Office applications?

    Regards,

    Tina
