Standalone versions are always costly for MS Office products as MS wants people to buy complete package. This aspect has always been since MS launched Office.

Power Pivot can be found in the following Office products. Please confirm if you have one of these versions. This is no longer an add-in as in 2010 and 2013 but come as part of default installation provided you have one of following versions.

    Office 365 Pro Plus

    Office 365 Enterprise E3

    Office 365 Enterprise E5

    Office Professional 2016

Office 2016 Professional Plus (available via volume licensing only)

    Excel 2016 standalone
