Visio network rack shape error

Hello, all!

Anyone noticed this?:

In Visio 2010 (and possibly all other versions), the 19" rack has wrong width. The shapes (rack and network equipment provided with the program) has a mounting hole distance (horizontally) of 482.6 mm. But this measure is in real life the total equipment width! The hole distance should be around 465 mm. Thus, drawings created by customer will not fit!

    Yes, I know.

My point was to notice Microsoft that their master shapes are not in accordance with the real world. Pretty annoying to have to resize every rack, server etc from Microsoft stencils. Not to mention you have to KNOW that it has an error to do something about it...

    Hi,

In my opinion you can resize the shape and normally this shape is protected from resizing, you need to unprotect the shape first please refer to this article:
