Hello,
I have recently purchased a Surface Pro and installed One Note. I also installed this software on my Mac. I use the Surface pro at University as the One Note feature is more robust than the version on my Mac and has pen input. I do like that they are able to be synced so that I can have access to my notes on both devices.
Problem: I recently got an error code: 0xE0000057
To test I have opened up one note on both devices and made small alteration to a file to see if the files sync, which they do eventually.
I was instructed online to un and re-install the office suite. I did this, and still the error persists. Also now when I go to sign into the web app version of one note my folder isn't available as an option.
If someone could please help it would be much appreciated. Tech support said my only option was to pay for premium membership (99+) to have a tech resolve this issue...

Many users have been mentioning trouble with OneNote starting the day before yesterday. Microsoft must be having some technical issues with it. I suggest waiting for a while and trying again later.
