I am new to Microsoft Access (using 2016 now). I have been using VBA for years so hopefully that will help me here; though it hasn’t so far.
I am getting a “Microsoft Access cannot find the object ‘Last Modified.’” error. This started when I tried to add a field (“Last Modified”) in the table and then the form using the instructions from support.office.com (Store the date and time when a record is modified).
It didn’t work so I deleted the field (“Last Modified”), but unfortunately its legacy lingers on. Now whenever I’m using the form and I make an edit to a record and try to move to the next record, instead of prompting me if I want to save the current record I get the error. I have searched though each control, the VBA code, I ran the Compact and Repair Database utility. Somewhere out of my view is a reference to the old field name “Last Modified” but I cannot find it.
Can anyone offer the next places I should look?
Thanks,
Daryl
