Can't select the correct answer when creating Forms.

I've been creating some forms for my students to do quick content checks - works great for that. Thank you.

But I'm creating one today that won't let me select the correct answer?

When I hover the mouse in the area where the tick usually is, it's not appearing. I only get a 'Trash' icon. See below.

What am I doing wrong please?

    Hi Amanda,

Is this a new form or quiz?

In quiz, we can select correct answer for a question. But in form, we cannot select option as correct answer. Form is used for collecting some info about some questions (that is to say there is no specific answer for question). But quiz is used to get correct answer for questions (like small test, exam).

    In  form, only delete button

In quiz, we can select correct answer

    New form or new quiz

If this is a new quiz, but you cannot select correct answer, please feel free to let me know.

    Best regards,

    Tim

    Hi Amanda,

It's not feasible to convert a form to quiz. You may need to recreate the quiz manually.

We understand it will be convenient in this situation, we suggest you vote the similarfeedback in Microsoft Forms Uservoice. This is the best way to let the related team hear your voice.

    Thanks for your understanding.

    Tim

    Thank you!!!

I must have accidentally clicked 'Form' instead of 'Quiz'!

I don't suppose there's an easy way to convert a Form to a quiz now that I have made that mistake?!

    Cheers,

    Amanda
