Multiple Office File Cache Errors - SharePoint Online

What can we do to fix Office Upload Center Failures?

We have always received constant errors from the Office Upload Center over the years. The issue is getting worse over time and Microsoft has never been able to provide me a solution other than changing the cache settings or deleting the cached files. I have opened several cases on this in the past, and currently have a ticket open, but do not have faith in Microsoft in providing a permanent fix. I receive reports of errors on a regular basis from employees when someone is trying to edit a file on SharePoint Online and tries saving the document or opening.

Errors

  1. We can't connect to 'https://domain.sharepoint.com/site/document_library/folder/file.extension.' Please make sure you're using the correct web address.
  2. Upload Failed - Status Sign In Required
  3. Upload Pending
  4. Upload Failed - We're sorry, someone updated the server version with edits that conflict with yours. "Keep My Version or Keep Server Version" (Either options fails)
  5. Upload Failed: Server file updated. "We're sorry, someone updated the server copy and it's not possible to upload your changes now. Click Resolve to save a copy of the file."
